The Pioneer docs FAQ has this sentence “The current is RVV 0.71. There will be a CPU upgrade at Q1 2024 to support RVV 1.00.”
I have not seen any more announcements since noticing this sentence on the web site.
Is this still a plan?

Google for SG2044, which I think is what they consider the upgrade over the SG2042, and which is supposed to come out this year (2024).
