Having a Milk-V equivalent for the Jupiter NX would future proof the Jupiter platform with upgrade-able modules (e.g. SpacemiT’s X100 processors), and I believe others would welcome that notion as well since the Jupiter’s already an awesome powerhouse for storage scalability that limits the HiFive Premier’s potential, but the HiFive Premier’s introduced other features limiting the Jupiter (e.g. ITX case fan headers), and plugging in a Jupiter NX into a HiFive Premier-like main circuit board via SODIMM slot would bridge the gab between the Milk-V Jupiter and HiFive Premier P550.
I’d prefer to invest $500 into an ITX/DTX circuit board that can accept a Jupiter NX and continue to revolve around the SpacemiT Jupiter platform than to buy into an entirely different RISC-V architecture.
