How to build OS images for Pioneer

Hi,
I found this list OS Images
While this is a good starting point the images are old and not current versions of the relative distributions.

Does anybody know where there is any information on how these images were built? Github source repositories etc.

I would like to build and distribute updated versions of ubuntu and debian server images.

Also in the same folder area, but different doc is this: How to build SG2042 bsp.rst, and this one: How to Adapt Anolis OS on SG2042 EVB.rst has instructions on putting it into an sd card, although all of these documents IMO should be updated so that it is easier to understand. I myself am trying to build my own and put it all together and I am researching more. If I find something that helps, or works, I’ll update here.
