Hello,
Can anyone tell me if the PHY used in the Milk-V Mars CM supports hardware timestamping per IEEE 1588?
I could not find anything on the YT8513C.
Help on this subject will be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, IEEE-1588 is not supported by Mars CM.
Is that on a hardware level, or is it just not yet supported by the driver?
It’s a hardware limitation, to be specific, the ethernet phy on Mars CM don’t support IEEE-1588.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Is this limitation shared with the standard Mars SBC? As I want to purchase one once I have the budget (and is in stock), to supplement (and eventually replace in it’s role) my Raspberry Pi 3B.
By the way, I have to say, that from what I have read, the Mars is in my opinion, in terms of specs (not counting certain changes over the years in terms of support from various manufacturers) pretty much what I would have wanted the Raspberry Pi 3B to be back when it was still new, and great job and getting a RISC-V processor to similar performance levels, even at this relatively early stage (I expect even more in the future, once the drivers and firmwares mature, especially Imagination Tech’s).
