No display with Jupiter

I’m able to log in over UART. No error jump out at me in journalctl, but when I connect the HDMI cable dmesg has:

[  893.536496] [drm] spacemit_hdmi_connector_detect() hdmi status connected
[  893.568417] [drm] spacemit_hdmi_connector_detect() hdmi status connected

Is this relevant to the issue? Where else should I look?

My monitor’s optimal resolution is 2560x1440. It’s able to display 1920x1440, which is the maximum display size in the specs for the board. I thought that’d work fine. I guess not.

I bought a dinky little monitor and it works with the Jupiter.

I have 2 monitors, an old 1360x768 and a new 1920x1280, and Jupiter displays images on both monitors without any problems.
