It appears that the sensor in the camera module has insufficient light blocking through the PCB. I can see what looks like a BGA when light into the front of the camera is blocked but there is light on the camera PCB.
Could I suggest adding a ground plane to the PCB to act as a light shield?
FWIW, I am using it with a DUO S. Both items were purchased through ARACE. I’m running the latest firmware v1.1.1.
