Does anyone have tips on how to reduce power consumption on the Jupiter?
I’m trying to build a NAS and it’s using a steady 13W of power even when idle and no drives connected.
I’ve tried the default image as well as the openmediavault image with no meaningful difference there.
Edit: I’m using ATX power and I’m curious if anyone has tested the barrel jack for power consumption and if it’s any lower.

I didn’t do any measurments so far to compare the different power options, but how would you power the drives if not using an ATX/SFX Power Supply?

I have some USB-to-SATA-power adaptors intended for this use case. I haven’t tested out the power consumption difference yet though, as I’ve struggled to get good enough performance in general to make this a useful NAS.

I now have a Power Meter attached to my Jupiter NAS with 5 HDDs and an SSD on the board. Takes 21W Idle. Could be lower indeed.
