Titanflasher issue

In section 1 of “Use titanflasher flash tool” in Milk-V Jupiter Install OS Image | Milk-V
the image show a Type-A cable to connect the Type-C while the text is “Type-C cable to connect the Type-C port”
Which one is it ?

“Use a Type-C cable to connect the Type-C port of Jupiter to the PC”
So Type-C end of the cable go to Type-C port of Jupiter ?
Where go the other end of the the cable: Type-A or Type-C

In TitanFlasher (Windows 8) → “Dev tools” → “Scan device” button do not recognize any device and the device field is always empty.

Windows 8, jumper to RECOVERY pins, nvme is recognized with the SD card.

In MILK-V Jupiter review - A RISC-V mini-ITX motherboard and PC tested with Ubuntu-based Bianbu OS - CNX Software
after the board image the author write “The kernel log should show a DFU device”. Where can I see this log ?

In the kernel log and/or syslog file[s] of your OS, if it has them.

The only one. Take the board, look at the ports on the board, make sure you know which connector type is Type-C; in case of any doubt, read the silkscreen printing on the board next to the ports.

To make it clear: you need a USB data cable. One end of it you will have to connect to the hardware you intend to connect your Jupiter board to. The other end should be plugged into the Type-C port on the board. Not the other way, unless both ends of the cable are Type-C.

  1. Connect the data cable. Your computer’s OS should detect a new CH340x USB-to-TTL converter or something. Make sure it does have the driver for that CH340× converter installed.
  2. Short the RECOVERY pin pair.
  3. Power up the board (not via the data cable, but using a dedicated power supply). It should force the hardware bootloader in the Jupiter SoC. You can press and hold the RECOVERY button instead while powering up the board (external PSU, this matters), it should do the same job.
  4. Your computer should detect your Jupiter board in the DFU mode, over this debug line, so that Titanflasher tool will be able to set it up for you.

TitanFlasher

1) SD Card: in reader or not ?
2) HDMI port: connect to monitor or not ?
3) Press RECOVERY BUTTON: How many seconds ?
4) In TitanFlasher -> Setting -> Space is always 0 GB. What this mean ?

OS image are like: milkv-jupiter-bianbu-24.04-desktop-k1-v2.0.2-release-2024-1111.zip
My board is M1 not K1. Can I use this K1 image for on my M1 ?

Which OS is needed to run TitanFlasher. I try Windows 10, Windows 8.1 on 3 differents computers without success.
Does NVMe need special format ? Is WD Blue SN550 good for SSD ?

Log file

>Where can I see this log ?
> In the kernel log and/or syslog file[s] of your OS, if it has them.
"eventVWR" of log files: hardware events, applications and services. Which one id the right log ?
Open Saved Log show that all log are empty...

Any way to flash NVME other than TitanFlasher. Like dd command ?

Thank you.
