Why can't we get a centralized download page for official vendor images (and a single distro)?

Hello, I’m just wondering why there is such a big inconsistency in the Linux distributions used on Milk-V products? Some products offer Debian, but the Jupiter offers Bianbu, an outdated Ubuntu 23.10 and an unofficial link for Fedora 41.

Why can’t we get a single up-to-date LTS distribution?

Another question: Would someone be so kind as to link me an article or guide to build my own image using a distro of my choice? I see people using Arch and Gentoo, but I can’t figure it out on my own. Thank you!

The Linux distributions are made by the vendors of the SoCs, not by Milk-V

I believe Bianbu 2.0 is made from Ubuntu 24.04.
